Description
This course will provide the participants the foundation and the structured approach to managing interior fit-out interior fit-out projects in meeting interior fit-out project goals. This will, likewise, enhance the skills of the participants with the use of globally accepted best practices and standards In Interior fit-out project management, and expose them to the same vocabulary and advocacy with international interior fit-out project management practitioners to achieve business excellence. Globally accepted interior fit-out project management processes, tools and techniques will be covered in the course to meet Interior fa-out project objectives and enhance the interior fit-out project management skills of the participants and the company as whole
ENTRY COMPETENCIES of Participants (Prerequisites)
Target participants are all persons involved in a Interior fit-out project, either as a stakeholder, a sponsor, a interior fit-out project manager, an architect/designer, a interior fit-out project engineer or a interior fit-out project team member. While the number of years in the practice is not required, it is imperative that the participant should have an adequate knowledge on the business processes and procedures of the Industry he/she is into to be able to define in details his/her role in the interior fit out project.
COURSE OBJECTIVES/LEARNING OUTCOMES
Competencies to be gained from the course program include but are not limited to the following:
- This course encompasses the interior fit-out project management process groups of initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and control, and dosing within the knowledge areas of Integration, Scope, lime, Cost, Quality, Human Resource, Communication, Risk, and Procurement Management.
- Participants will know how to identify and process relevant interior fit-out project information, and transform the requirements into Work Breakdown Structures and a Interior fit-out project Management Plan using a globally-accepted approach.
- Participants will be able to create a detailed schedule and execution plan to meet interior fit-out project deliverables.
- Participants will be able to create the budget and interior fit-out project cost
- Participants will be able to define criteria in measuring and monitoring interior fit-out project deliverables while the Interior fit-out project Is in progress
- Participants will be able to set controls on every deliverable to be able to manage changes on time, cost, quality and scope
- Participants will be able to deliver interior fit-out projects within the bounds of time, cost, quality and scope by using specified interior flout project management tools and techniques
- Participants will be able to define their respective roles as part of the interior fit-out project team. There will be clarity of goals and clarity of roles
- Participants will know how to prepare the resource loading diagram
- Participants will be able to develop an effective communication plan to handle various stakeholders
- Participants will know the appropriate type of contract to use for every interior fit-out project, and how to manage them
- Participants will be able to close and tum-over the Interior fit-out project at the clients and/or managements satisfaction
