Description

This course encompasses the Best Practices of Design for Manufacturing and Assembly. It is the game-changing method of construction which involves construction being designed for manufacturing off-site in controlled environment, before being assembled on-site.

ENTRY COMPETENCIES of Participants:

Target participants are all persons involved in the design and construction industry either as a design consultant architect, designer, project manager, project architect, site engineers or a project team member. While the number of years in the practice is not a requisite, it is imperative that the participant should have an adequate knowledge on the project processes and procedures of the construction industry he/she is into to be able to define in details his/her role in the project.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

This course will provide the participants the foundation and the structured approach in Design for Manufacturing and Assembly in meeting project goals. This will, likewise, enhance the skills of the participants with the use of globally accepted best design practices and construction standards in DfMA to achieve organizational goals.
