Description
Ergonomics Program provides basic information for safety and health officers, employers and workers in designing an effective ergonomics program to prevent work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs). It outlines practical strategies for identifying and correcting ergonomic deficiencies in a variety of workplace settings. Defining key elements of an effective program, it allows participants to fit this information to their particular workplace. It also provides a number of workshops and exercises that deepen the knowledge in implementing this program.
ENTRY COMPETENCIES of Participants (Prerequisites):
Any graduate of Engineering, Science, or any BS degree courses with experience on management in the workplace.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
At the end of the course, the participant shall be able to:
- Provide participants with the necessary knowledge on important components of an Ergonomics programs.
- Apply practical strategies for identifying and correcting ergonomic deficiencies in a variety of workplace settings.
