Description
This course covers the proper use of Fusion 360 to develop 3D model of real objects or design ideas and to produce technical drawings and the manufacturing file for additive manufacturing machines. This course tackles on proper project planning, proper use between components and objects, shortcuts and tips in using Fusion 360, and practice on producing 3D model of actual objects. At the end of this course, the participants are expected to be able to make 3D model of actual parts in Fusion 360 and to produce technical drawings and additive manufacturing file of the object.
ENTRY COMPETENCIES of Participants (Prerequisites):
Participants are required to have computer literacy and an experience in using CAD or other similar software
COURSE OBJECTIVES/LEARNING OUTCOMES:
- Be knowledgeable about the basics of Fusion 360 software including the file management, user interface, basic controls and licensing options.
- Be able to produce the 3D model of simple actual mechanical parts or parts from technical drawings.
- Be able to make a technical drawing and an additive manufacturing file of a 3D model from Fusion 360.
*EVALUATION by the CPD PROVIDER: All the participant are required to achieve at least 70% in all evaluation to get a passing grade and complete the course.
PURPOSE of Evaluation by the CPD PROVIDER is to check if the participant achieved the learning outcomes intended. CPD Provider has to ensure confidence in the program that it designed. If the evaluation of the outcomes is not properly done, then the CPD program is considered weak or poor. It is the responsibility of the CPD Provider to ensure that the participant achieved learning outcomes through the use of proper evaluation tools. Self-evaluation by the participant (did you learn from this program) is not sufficient proof of having achieved learning outcomes.
While the CPD Provider needs to evaluate its own program for future planning, this is not the evaluation tool for the learning outcomes intended.
