In today’s competitive world, many organization and companies in different sectors are now understanding the importance of Project and Program Management and also require their personnel who handle large and complex projects to be trained in the principles of Project Management. To stay ahead of competition, it is important for any aspiring project/ program managers to understand the theory and learn the skills of how to manage projects in order to deliver it within time, scope, budget and quality.

Program management and project management both involve similar skill sets, but they are two different roles. Program management are much larger and more complex than projects, think of a program as consisting of many separate projects while Project management involves managing the operations of an individual project within the program.

This course is designed to equip students to learn the skills critical to a successful project management: Leadership, Planning, Communication, Risk Management, Contract Management, Resource Management, Quality Management, Financial Management and Stakeholder Management. The course is aligned with the standards and best practices prescribed by the Project Management Institute and lessons learnt from the industry.

ENTRY COMPETENCIES of Participants (Prerequisites):

Completed at least 2 years of college

Proficient in MS Office software – Word, Excel, Project which is important skill for any project manager
